Using the Attac.org Social Network
The dashboard:
After logging in, or via the main menu above, you arrive at the “Dashboard”.
This is a page showing you
- the latest posts to your own groups
- an overview of your groups
- upcoming events for your own group, or all groups
- your content bookmarks

The main menu is on the left of the page. It’s only visible once you’ve logged into the Social Network.

My account : This is your public profile, with an overview of your contributions, bookmarks, user account, activist data, Friends, plus latest news and activity, and files uploaded.
My blog: this is where you will find your blog
My groups: access to the groups you belong to
My bookmarks: an overview of your bookmarks
My contacts: an overview of your Friends and Friend Requests
Attacies: a list and map of all the participants in attac.org
Messages: This is the internal messaging system for contacting other Attacies. It provides an Inbox with “Write new message”, “Sent”, “Mark all as read” functions.

This is the way in which our members and local activist groups, and also committees and technical advisers, can exchange ideas and react more quickly to current events. At the same time, it’s a good place to let people know what our activists are doing across the world.
Blog entries can have a title, tags, content, file attachments and viceo links.

Add a group
A group is your own little platform within Attac.org. It will have its own home page with a desription of the group, its objectives etc. A group can run a blog, a group events calendar, a wiki, and a forum. Other Attacies are able to join your group.
Before creating a group you should look at the overview page to check whether a suitable group already exists.
Group entries can have title, tags, content, objectives, type of group and logo.

A group post can have a title, tags, content, pictures, attachments, video links.

Create a wiki-page in a group:
Wiki-pages can be worked on by all group members. All changes can be tracked and changed.
A wiki-page can contain a title, tags, body content, language and audience attributes, attachments.

Create an event in a group:
Events or regular meetings can be entered in a group calendar.
An event can have a title, date, duration, frequency, tags, location, attachments.

It is possible to add photos or photo albums to a group.
