Hello ATTAC UK members !

Hi everyone !

I was delighted to discover this morning that some people were willing to expand the ATTAC presence in London and the UK.

I went on this same website a while ago and was quit disappointed to see on the international ATTAC presence map dots on nearly all European nations but...the UK !

I would love to think we can do something about it, although I'm not sure exactly how to get started...well, presumably by meeting each others, at least for the ones leaving near London (maybe we could use Skype for the others ?)

That may sound stupid but the website always sends me to an "error" page when I try and see the comments added to the introduction message of the Attac London / UK group, so I know obvisouly very little about the status of the discussions...would anyone be able to help me ?

On my side, I'm a 31 years old chap with very little activism experience but with a life-long interest in all things political and a great desire to help promoting alternative analysis and ideas.

I am sure that even with few ressources an ATTAC platform in the UK would help local people keeping in touch with the latest UK-based events, conferences and alternative information sources.

I am looking forward to meet you all and hear of everybody's experience and suggestions for this new Attac platform.

I answered to Florianne on this forum - are you still in London and intresrested in an ATTAC group? I am from France, lives here in the UK and now quite well people from ATTAC-France. I think that they would be very interested in seeing an ATTAC-UK group developing here. Are you still here and up for it?

I think this is a great idea. Next year is the Summer School of Attac Europe in Germany (close to the French border) that is an event we can work towards; advertise it and organise some conferences maybe would be a starting point?

Good evening, this seems to be a new bug implied by the new version of the system used to build this website. You can nevertheless access to the group's homepage by using the right menu : you can access to the group's home, blog, wiki, members. Don't hesitate to user the contact page to report this kind of issues. We are still in a beta version of the website and are working hard to improve the ergonomy, to solve bugs...
